Connect to a LDAP server using a distinguished name and password
Patch is available for version: pine 4.58
This patch by Lester Hightower allows pine to connect to an LDAP server non-anonymously (by binding to a distinguished name with a password). If the environment variables PINE_BIND_DN and PINE_BIND_PASSWD are defined. The first variable is used to specify the distinguished name that you are going to use, for example, anonymous, and the second to specify the password.
