Justify paragraphs that contain more than one level of quoting (Test version)
Versions of pine the patch is available for: pine 4.53

This is an explanation of what the patch does for you.

The patch justifies text that has been indented with quote strings that look like words. In this case, the algorithm validates a quote string if it appears in the same position on two consecutive lines of the text. Below you can see an example:
:) On Match 03, 2003 P.K.
:) Wrote:
:)
:) EC:
:) EC: Please let me know if you can make it
:) EC: to lunch tomorrow. I'll be glad to meet
:) EC: with you tomorrow.
After justification with the patch this text becomes:
:) On Match 03, 2003 P.K. Wrote:
:)
:) EC:
:) EC: Please let me know if you can make it to lunch tomorrow. I'll be
:) EC: glad to meet with you tomorrow.
Another experimental feature that this patch adds is the ability to add indentation (during justification) to paragraphs. In order to do this, you must start a paragraph with either of the following characters "*,[0-9],-". If a paragraph begins with a number, it is expected that there will be an empty line preceding that line, or that the line preceding this line will end in a period or a colon. Here's an example, which includes justification of quote strings:

:) There are a few reasons why I can not attend the
:) meeting tomorrow:
:) 1. I have a doctor appointment 30 minutes before the meeting.
:) 2. My appointment is supposed to last for at least 45 minutes,
:) and during that time my doctor and I will talk about several important
:) points:
:) - My diet for the coming months.
:) - Exercise plan for the next months. The idea is to start a plan
:) of exercises that will reduce my weight about 20 pounds.
:) 3. When I leave the appointment, there will be lots of traffic, so
:) the amount of time it will take driving back can not be predicted at this
:) time.
Here's the way this text looks when justified using this patch.
