Define your own rules and make Alpine flexible!

Here you can see what you can do with the replace rules. You can see for example that because a mailing list name appears in the subject, it makes the part of subject that can be read smaller, so you tend to lose information. Also, the opening text may get cluttered by reply-leadin information which should be eliminated.

In the first image you can see a session of Alpine that shows the from, subject and opening text information. You can see that it is not very useful.

In the second image you can see a session of Alpine that shows the same information but has been processed by replace rules. You can see that the information is much more useful in this case.
